Windows 11 Upgrade
Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 10 will reach end of life on October 14th, 2025. After this date, Windows 10 will no longer receive security / software updates. If you’re not ready for Windows 11, you do have the ability to extend support for one additional year, see this article for more information.
If you’re ready to move to Windows 11, give us a call to see if your current computer is compatible with Windows 11; if it is, we can get your current computer upgraded to Windows 11. This can usually be accomplished within a 1-2 hour appointment!
However, if your computer hardware isn’t new enough to be compatible with Windows 11, then we’d be looking at needing to purchase a new computer to replace the current computer. No two peoples computer needs / preferences are the same, so to make sure you get the right computer, we’ll go step by step with you through the process of shopping for and ordering a new computer. Once the new computer arrives, we’ll schedule a time to pickup both computers, get all data transferred over (usually takes 1-3 days), then schedule a follow up visit to get the new computer set-up in home. At the end, you’ll have a brand new computer with all your previous data / programs running on it, now running Windows 11!
